Baosteel's net profit slumps 83% on year in 2015

Despite a huge 83.4% slide on year, Shanghai-listed Baoshan Iron & Steel (Baosteel) still managed to achieve a net profit of Yuan 961 million ($146 million) last year - albeit a fraction of 2014's Yuan 5.79 billion, according to its preliminary results announced on January 19. The Chinese steel giant is scheduled to report its official full-year results on March 31.
