Asia HRC export prices slide but enquiries tick up

Spot prices of hot rolled coil exported from China fell for a fifth week on the lack of demand, althoughtraders saw a glimmer of hope that the market was turning around in the form of an increase in buyingenquiries from midweek. Some traders expected prices to rebound after the Lunar New Year holiday(February 18-24) as current levels were deemed too low.
