China's daily production of pig iron slipped for the second-consecutive month in November, dipping by 1.5% month on month or 26,000 mt/day, according to the latest figures from the National Bureau of Statistics. The slight decline in average daily production to 1.714 million mt/day might have resulted from the routine annual maintenance some steel mills have slated for the last two months of the year, a Beijing steel analyst explained.
