Korean domestic scrap prices tumbling since mid-March stabilized this week, as major steelmakers demurred from announcing further buying price cutbacks because of the nationwide truck drivers' strike. Hyundai Steel, the country's largest scrap consumer, was intending to slash its purchase prices from June 28 but has opted to delay this until next week, local dealers said.
