NLMK eyes Revyakino rebar mill as takeover target: report

Russian mining and steel company NLMK is considering buying Revyakino Steel Rolling Plant in the Tula region adjacent to Moscow, according to Reuters. NLMK is looking to strengthen its presence in the rebar market of central federal district to which Revyakino is one of the suppliers, Platts understands. Contacted by Platts, NLMK's spokesman refused to comment.
