US sheet market ponders Q4 and 2017 supply situation

The US hot-rolled and cold-rolled coil continued to see prices unchanged on Tuesday but many questioned if supply and demand would still be balanced at the end of this year and into 2017. S&P Global Platts maintained its daily HRC and CRC assessments at $580-$600/st and $790-$810/st, respectively. Both prices are normalized to a Midwest (Indiana) ex-works basis.
