摘要

Picea abies samples were dipped for 24 h in rapeseed oil of 200 degrees C or treated in an autoclave (N-rich environment under high pressure at 170 degrees C). After 2-3 days of drying samples were inoculated with Trametes versicolor, Gloeophyllum trabeum, Lentinus lepideus, Coniophora puteana and Poria placenta. Data are presented on volume loss caused by fungi, pH, fungal resistance, wood discoloration after 20 weeks and 6 months (in laboratory), and after 3 weeks of weather exposure. Brown rot fungi significantly decreased wood volume, while a higher volume loss was seen in heat-treated samples inoculated with white rot (T. versicolor). Blue staining was occasionally found near the surface of heat-treated wood. The colour of heat-treated wood was not UV-resistant, but the colour of oil-treated wood was more stable than that of autoclave-treated wood..
