摘要

The kinetics of hydrogen peroxide decomposition has been studied on mixed Zn-Co oxides catalysts.Cobalt oxide possesses considerably higher catalytic activity over ZnO.The rate of decomposition of H2O2 on mixed oxides increases with increasing concentration of cobalt oxide and in nitrogen medium.The kinetics of decomposition of hydrogen peroxide on mixed oxide catalysts is entirely heterogeneous.The energy of activation as calculated from the Arrhenious equation is 83.26 kJ/mol for sample D from B series.The rate is first order in all these samples.
