India and the United States Sign Civilian Nuclear Deal

During his recent visit to India,the US President,Mr.George Bush agreed to finalise a civilian nuclear deal with India,which is being described as historic and a "win-win" outcome for both countries.On March 2,2006,Indian Prime Minister,Dr Manmohan Singh,and the visiting US President,Mr.George Bush,reached an understanding on the implementation of the civilian nuclear co-operation agreed to last year.
