Nor-Shipping 2011 Off to a Great Start

This year's Nor-Shipping kicked off its first days by celebrating the maritime industry's future as well as daring to ask the question "What's next?" The evening before the commencement of this year's event included the opening of the Nor-Shipping Campus - a new addition to the biannual proceedings. The Campus, which focuses on attracting a new generation to the industry, was opened by Norwegian Minister of Trade & Industry Trond Giske; Oslo Mayor Fabian Stang; Henrik Madsen, CEO of Det Norske Veritas (DNV); and Sturla Henriksen, Managing Director of the Norwegian Shipowners Association.
