SAMPE 2010 Seattle--A Review

For the fisrt time SAMPE held its spring meeting in Seattle. 296 exhibiting companies (including 70 new exhibitors) were joined by 355 technical presentations and eight tutorials. A total of 5,036 attendees participated in the conference and exhibition. There was heavy foot traffic every day in the exhibit hall, which pleased exhibitors and attendees alike. This year, back by popular demand was the presentation stage, where exhibitors demonstrated products and answered questions. "M&P companies recognize that SAMPE is the premiere forum for advanced materials and processes. It's vital for companies that wish to grow and succeed to have a presence here," noted SAMPE President Steve Rodgers, Director of R&D with ITT Integrated Structures, Salt Lake City, Utah. "SAMPE 2010 offered an experience to advanced M&P professionals and companies that can't be found anywhere else. Only SAMPE can deliver this experience."
