It is the time of year for conference and related activities to be in full swing again. Therefore it's a pleasure to call attention to the extent of SAMPE activities in Europe - which is more than ample to fill the available space. So it's all SAMPE Europe events news again this time, folks! This editor had the pleasure of attending a very successful and international one day event, on 23 February, at the Cranfield University, Center for Lightweight Composites. Officially, the 6~(th) Annual SAMPE UK and Ireland Chapter's Technical Conference carried the theme of Advanced Lightweight Structures, and was organized jointly by SAMPE, plus the Nottingham University Composites Club, and supported by the National Composites Network. As noted by the organizers, together with Chapter Chairman Andrew Long, this activity built on last year's well received "Out of Autoclave Moulding" conference held at the East Midlands Airport.
