Legislation encourages wellness programs

WASHINGTON-Legislation introduced July 9 in the Senate seeks to encourage employers to implement employee wellness programs.Introduced by Sen.Tom Harkin,D-IA,the Healthy Workforce Act of 2007 (S.1753) would offer tax incentives to employers who provide certain types of wellness programs.
