COLUMBUS,OH-The scandal-plagued Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation received an overhaul with reforms signed into law by Gov.Ted Strickland,D.Strickland on June 11 signed H.B.100,approving the bureau's budget and replacing the oversight commission - which operated primarily in an advisory role - with an 11-member independent board of directors that will be held accountable for approving investment policies and reviewing progress in meeting cost objectives.
