You can't go a day in modern day America without hearing the word "stress." From CEOs to physicians to industrial workers and even schoolchildren,stress and its close cousin anxiety weigh heavily on every member of society.The Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,in its 2004 "Worker Health Chartbook," compiled Bureau of Labor Statistics data on anxiety,stress and neurotic disorders in the workplace.Anxiety,stress and neurotic disorders are associated with acute and chromic post-traumatic anxiety,reaction to stress,panic disorders and other neurotic disorders not elsewhere classified.
