Bayer CropScience opens new R&D site in US

A new R&D site valued around $80 M (almost ?61 M) has been opened by Bayer CropScience in West Sacramento, US. The 10 acre site features a 100,000 sq ft building and a 35,000 sq ft pilot facility that will house R&D for biological crop protection products. It also includes a 30,000 sq ft vegetable seeds research facility. The site is planned to have a 2000 sq ft glasshouse and 5 acres of land for glasshouse space.
