摘要

Field experiment was conducted during wet seasons of 2001 and 2002 to study the response of rice to integrated nitrogen application in an Inceptisol. The growth parameters like plant height, dry matter accumulation, root mass density as well as the physiological parameters like leaf area index, leaf area duration, light interception etc were significantly higher under 100% recommended dose of nitrogen blended with FYM at 31 ha~(-1) Similar trend was also recorded with different yield attributes, grain and straw yield of rice. The nitrogen use efficiency parameters revealed that the recovery efficiency was highest with 100% recommended dose of nitrogen as Urea: FYM: Soil, but the agronomic efficiency of 100% recommended dose of nitrogen blended withFYM at 3 t ha~(-1) and 100% recommended dose of nitrogen + FYM at 5 ha~(-1) were the same (0.48) and closely followed by 100% recommended dose of nitrogen as Urea:FYM:Soil (0.47).
