Special Report/19th World Orchid Conference Comes to USA in 2008

THE organizers of the 19th World Orchid Conference are inviting all orchidists - hobbyists, orchid societies, judges and commercial growers - to participate in the 19WOC that will be held in Miami, Florida, January 23-27, 2008. The South Florida orchid community, led by the Ft. Lauderdale and South Florida Orchid Societies, will host this prestigious event, which is held once every three years in different venues around the world. Its purpose is to showcase the world's best orchid flowers in a fabulous orchid show and, at the same time, educate orchidists on the latest scientific, horticultural and conservation issues with an intensive lecture series presented by distinguished experts from around the world.
