LOCATED ON 7 ACRES (.03 SQ KM) overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Roger's Gardens is situated in the Southern California coastal town of Corona del Mar. This gardening paradise is considered a prime home and garden center, as witnessed by its receiving the American Horticultural Society Commercial Award in 1985. In past years, it has also won the Ameri-Christmas award for its outstanding annual Christmas tree exhibit. In the garden room located at Roger's Gardens, orchid enthusiasts will find orchid plants and orchid arrangements available year round. Roger McKinnon founded Roger's Gardens in Costa Mesa, California in 1965. It was later bought by Gavin Herbert Sr. in 1970 and moved to its current location in Corona del Mar. This home-and-garden center has been a success ever since, with beautiful hanging baskets and color bowls that continue to remain its trademark. Roger's Gardens offers monthly gardening classes and seminars hosted by local well-known horticulturists, including orchid experts.
