摘要

In the electrodynamics of inhomogeneous dielectrics, a new model that allows an exact solution is proposed. The fields of s- and p-polarized waves are determined for the case of their propagation through a layer with a monotonic distribution of the dielectric constant, as well as with a nonmonotonic distribution characterized by two free parameters. Inhomogeneous coatings of this kind are shown to exhibit nonreflecting properties under arbitrarily polarized waves incident at arbitrary angles.
