Theoretical Study of Possible Decay Channels and Lifetime of the Metastable Triplet State of the He_2O~(2+) Ion

摘要

Based on quantum-chemical calculations, the possibility of the existence of the [He_2O]~(2+) dication with a linear atomic configuration in the triplet 1 ~3Σ_g~- state is found. The equilibrium internuclear distances and vibrational spectrum are found, and the lifetime τ ～ 5 * 10~2 s for this dication is estimated.
