摘要

Stimulated resonance emission of zinc vapors excited by pulsed laser radiation in the presence of a buffer gas is obtained and studied at wavelengths 468, 472.2, 481, 396.5, and 647.9 nm corresponding to the 53S1→81S0 and 5S0 transitions of the zinc atom. IR emission lines at 1.44,1.89, and 1.1 μm related to the 53S1→43D1, and 51S0 transitions are also detected. Dependences of intensities of the resonance lines on the buffer gas pressure and density of zinc atoms is examined. A significant improvement in the efficiency of conversion into the violet spectral range is achieved with argon as the buffer gas. Polarization parameters of the emission obtained are studied.
