Nonlinear Properties of Phosphate Glasses Doped with CdS, CdSe, and CdSxSe1 - x Microcrystals

The first results are presented on studies of nonlinear properties of new phosphate glasses, synthesized by us, doped with CdS, CdSe, and CdSxSe1-x microcrystals. Measurements on the 1.064 and 0.532 μm laser wavelengths are made using the Z-scan technique. The spectral dependence of the measured nonlinear characteristics is discussed.
