The energies of the ground and two lowest excited 21S and 23S states of the helium atom placed inside an impenetrable sphere of radius r0 are calculated by means of the net method in order to solve the Schrodinger equation. The calculation is also performed for analogues of the helium atom with different values of Z (from Z = 1 to Z = 10). The calculation is exact both in relation to the account for the electron correlations and to the representation of the wave function, because the net method allows one to avoid difficulties caused by the choice of the trail functions appropriate to the problem being solved, which are inherent in variational methods.
