Results of a theoretical study of the effect of a hologram structure on the sensitivity of autocollimation systems for monitoring the shape of the primary mirror are discussed. Expressions describing aberrations of a wave front entering into an interferometer as functions of mirror deformations and variations of geometric parameters of a monitoring system are presented. Monitoring systems operating from a hologram structure are shown to possess, on the whole, higher sensitivity to variations of their geometric parameters as compared to systems operating immediately from the mirror surface. Features of holographic monitoring systems determined by their sensitivity to displacements of portions of the mirror aperture along its surface are considered.
