摘要

A review is presented of studies of emission of organic molecules excited by focused laser radiation. The data obtained show that emission observed upon pumping above a threshold power is the spontaneous superfluorescence whose intensity is determined by an increase in the probability of spontaneous emission. Itis assumed that the increase in the probability of spontaneous emission is caused by an enhancement of the vacuum-field fluctuations under nondegenerate four-wave mixing of the pumping waves and the fluctuating waves of the vacuum field.
