Optical transfer function of an optical system with a vortex phase mask in the presence of primary aberrations

摘要

The impact of primary aberrations on the optical transfer function of an optical system with a vortexphase mask has been investigated in detail. The optical transfer function of such a system becomesnegative in a certain frequency range even in the absence of aberrations, a feature different from thecase of an optical system in which center of the point spread function is bright.
