Group-velocity matching in the mixing of three noncollinear phase-matched waves for bixial crystal

A model of three-wave parametric interaction is presented for biaxial crystals, in both type I and type II noncollinear phase-matching (PM) conditions, in which the group velocities of the interacting pulses are suitably linked to each other. To satisfy group-velocity (GV) matching the tunable parametric generation of femtosecond pulses must use noncollinear PM. We consider three conditions of GV matching of femtosecond pulses.
