For the second time in two years,Nexen Inc.is proposing a two-for-one share split,rewarding investors after a period of growth that saw significant activity in the British North Sea and in Alberta's oilsands."Since our last share split in May 2005,our share price has almost doubled," Nexen chief executive officer Charlie Fischer says.
