Sensor of on-line monitoring of bio-degradable hydraulic-oils

The pressure transmitting Fluid is of vital importance for hydraulic systems. However, it may degrade by oil aging and contamination. Oil condition monitoring can help to optimize the use of the oil, especially for ester based fluids. Continuous and reliable oil condition monitoring at resonable cost can only be performed by a sensor system. Some concepts and first test results will be presented.
