Librarian wins workstation; others win software from OCLC drawings

Just a few days after returning from the ALA Midwinter Conference in San Antonio, John Sigwald, librarian at the Unger Memorial Library in Plainview, Texas, received a phone call from OCLC with good news: he was the winner of a new Pentium-based OCLCM5133 Workstation. Mr. Sigwald, who entered his business card in the workstation drawing at the OCLC booth, said his library has plenty of uses for the new workstation, primarily as an Internet connection for library users.
