Bechtel awarded Mozambique LNG feed

CONSTRUCTION GIANT BECHTEL has landed a front-end engineering and design contract for Mozambique's first LNG terminal, the company said. The initial phase of the plant in the Cabo Delgado province will have a capacity for five million metric tonnes per year, with future plans to produce 50mn metric tonnes per year. The plant is planned for a 2018 startup.
