Science Action and Advocacy Update: Unifying the Grain Health Benefits Message

At the 2012 AACC International Annual Meeting, AACCI President Debbie Rogers introduced five key science opportunities (identified by the AACCI Scientific Advisory Panel and AACCI leaders) in which AACCI has a critical role to play. AACCI members wereencouraged to participate in the AACCI Science Action Plan by signing up for one of five opportunity areas. A significant number of members indicated their interest, and the action plan was initiated after the meeting. As a result of the discussion, I was very interested in and agreed to serve as the task force chair for the opportunity focused on "Unifying the Grains Health Benefits Message."
