4Subsea's WellSpot operations register moves to Azure cloud

Statoil has awarded Asker, Norway headquartered 4Subsea a contract for further development of its WellSpot cloud solution for wellhead data capture. A recent article in Computerworld Norway, translated on the 4Subsea website2901, reveals that WellSpot is used to capture a well's operational history, which rigs have interacted with it and under which weather conditions. The tool allows Statoil to assess the loads that the well has been subjected to.
