A review of BP's application development and application maintenance (ADAM) across upstream, downstream, trading and corporate businesses sees five major outsourcing deals struck.Following a year-long evaluation of its information technology, BP has initiated sweeping changes, consolidating its application development and application maintenance (ADAM) vendors across its three businesses -Exploration and Production, Refining and Marketing and Alternative Energy. The evaluation has resulted in the award of five major outsourcing contracts, announced in Bangalore, India last month.
