Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Ne- tanyahu has called on the international com munity to intensify pressure on Iran by im- posing an embargo on its crude oil exports and imports of gasoline. But analysts say there is no way the Rus- sians, Chinese or Europeans would agree to such punitive sanctions that, if implement- ed, could bring Iran to its knees but would also increase the risk of military confronta- tion in the Gulf.
