Lack of Interest Forces Iraq to Rethink Auction of Gas Fields

Lack of interest is forcing Iraq to rethink its third postwar tender for three gas fields. By sweetening commercial terms, inviting new players and pushing back the auction to Oct. 1, Baghdad hopes to drum up more competition for the nonassociated gas fields, which between them hold more than 11 trillion cubic feet.
