The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said Thursday it will develop and finalize restrictions on greenhouse gas emissions by oil refineries and fossil fuel power plants over the next two years. The EPA said it will propose emissions standards for refineries by July 2011 and finalize them by May 2012. Standards for power plants will be proposed by December 2011 and finalized by November 2012.
