Pemex Discovers Natural Gas

Of four test wells drilled by Pemex, Mexico's state oil firm, in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico this year, two have yielded gas, while the other two have been dry. Company spokesperson Eduardo Marin tells Oil Daily that the recently drilled Leek-1 well has discovered natural gas and condensates. The Holok well, drilled earlier this year, also found gas.
