Cobalt Drills Offshore Angola

Houston-based Cobalt International Energy said it has started drilling its Cameia #1 well in Block 21 offshore Angola and will spud the Bicaur-1A well, also in Block 21, once the first well is completed. The wells will be drilled by the Ocean Confidence rig, which was previously assigned to an Angolan affiliate of Total. Both wells are targeting pre-salt objectives.
