Cairn Energy has upped the legal ante against campaign group Greenpeace, taking out an injunction to prevent protesters who occupied the firm’s Edinburgh headquarters on Monday from publishing any information they may have found. The UK-listed firm, which was targeted over its Arctic drilling program offshore Greenland, has been granted an “interim interdict” to stop Greenpeace from carrying out a similar action in the future.
