摘要

Employability and Entrepreneurial skill-sets are the polished version of collective efforts put in by the educational institutions and represented by the industry, to bridge the gap between occupational roles and the skill-sets. It has been proved that the 'rate of growth' of all the sectors viz Education, Health Services, Infrastructure and Energy, is directly proportional to the availability of the skilled manpower, which can perform as per the defined roles in terms of industry standards to further ensures the multifold-progress of the organization. In the current scenario of Indian "Energy Sector, Human Resource - for both Development & Management, is a pressure point for all kinds of organizations due to the unpleasant gap between the critical roles and the required skill-sets. The dearth of qualified, experienced and trained manpower in Energy Sector is not only visible in the leadership roles, but also at the level of basic roles. In this paper, the researchers are discussing about commendable accomplishment & inexcusable incompetencies in the Indian Energy Sector along with its critical areas, pointing to the future scope of emerging opportunities, both in the government and private hubs.
