Pioneer sells Hugoton to Linn

Pioneer Natural Resources Co. (NYSE: PXD) has sold assets to Linn Energy LLC (Nasdaq: LINE). Linn's $340 million agreement for Pioneer's proved reserves in the Hugoton Basin deal was estimated to be $1 million per Bcfe—there is an estimated 340 Bcfe, 95% of it proved developed producing, on 235,000 HBP acres. The acreage, in Kansas, has about 1,200 producing wells.
