Competition for upstream MLP assets is destined to alter the buying model for those assets as more MLPs go public,according to Claire Farley,co-president of M&A advisor Jefferies Randall&Dewey."It's a finite set of assets.I don't know when it will be,but it won't be far off before we see huge competition-between the MEPs,"Farley said at a Society of Petroleum Engineers-Gulf Coast Section business-development study group program in Houston.
