Belarus Drills the Deepest Well in CIS

The Predrechitskaya parametric well ~#1 will be drilled within Rechitsko-Vishanskaya cascade of Northern structural-tectonic zone of Pripyat Trough, which is associated with all Belarusian oil deposits. The location of the Predrechitskaya zone - between the Rechitskoye and Yuzhno-Tishkovskoye deposits - gives enough ground to hope for substantial hydrocarbon deposits there.
