Two energy-efficient motors

Two new energy-efficient motors are announced: Quattro and W22 Super Premium.Quattro is a line-start permanent magnet design and hybrid model. It features a three-phase distributed winding in the stator. Its maker declares, operating at I EC-established IE4 efficiency levels, Quattro is more efficient than NEMA Premium efficiency induction motors. It operates at synchronous speed regardless of load, to provide no l2R losses in the aluminum cage.
