Catalyst reduces VOC, toxic organic compounds from PTA

This free brochure presents newly developed Halocat SC29 Catalyst to reduce up to 99% of VOC and toxic organic compounds from PTA (purified terephthalic acid) manufacturing plants. The low-cost base metal catalyst is cited to provide "same emissions reduction performance as precious metal-based catalysts." Savings in new plants or replacement of existing PGM (platinum group metals) are cited to "nearly offset the cost of the SC29 catalyst."
