Slick Sleuth delivers real-time oil spill detection. It's engineered to be a powerful new tool for prevention and rapid containment of spills that can otherwise go undetected until too late.Slick Sleuth instantaneously detects oils and oily compounds on water. Its sensor's non-contact design (optical UV-fluorescence type sensor) enables it to detect extremely small amounts of oil without coming into contact with the water, effluent, or contaminants within the water. Because the sensor is non-contact, there is no sensor fouling and therefore no maintenance or operating expense.
