Veteran Michigan Geological Survey geologist Dave Davis has been named supervisor of the Department of Environmental Quality,Office of Geological Survey's Permits & Bonding Unit.Davis replaced former Permit & Bonding Unit supervisor Tom Wellman,who accepted the position of supervisor of the Mineral and Land Management Section of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources' Forest,Mineral & Fire Management Division in May of 2005.
