AUSTIN EXPLORATION'S AUS-TEX Gueymard-1 well has unexpectedly discovered hydrocarbon potential in zones above the planned P sands.The potential discovery is still ambiguous,and requires further testing by Halliburton,however the potential for pay in the H,0,J,M,N and K sands could offset the disappointment at being unable to test the originally targeted P,U,T,and W zones due to an obstruction above the P sand and the poor condition of the seven inch casing left behind in the original Shell well.
